9:30am – 12:30pm       Children's Program

12:30pm – 1:30pm       Free boxed lunch. Call your church secretary to reserve your lunch.

McGhee Family Easter Egg Hunt is being planned for Easter morning, April 4. Everyone is invited to join them at 10:00a.m. at their home. You'll then walk across the street to the park for the hunt. If you are able, please bring a dozen eggs (boiled or plastic) and come out for the fun and fellowship of this special day.

 

Singles Spring "Easter" Party. You are invited to a singles event on Saturday, April 10th from 6:30p.m. -10:00p.m. Activities include: games, Easter egg hung, egg decorating and singles mingling. Little Lambs Ministry. This ministry is planning a special Easter event for all kids on Saturday, April 3 following the children's story at 2nd service. Your LL Leaders will be sharing the Easter story, an Easter craft and a special Easter surprise for kids of all ages. Robin McGhee is asking for two volunteers who would make one cake mix package worth of cupcakes, un-iced, for that day. Call (614) 330-9615.

Household items for sale: Steve Duncan is moving to Dayton this spring to be closer to his daughter and her family. Here is a new list of items available; oval dining room table with two leaves and the protector for $50, kitchen table for $50, three dark cherry wood armed chairs for $25. The piano is still for sale - new price $300. The hutch/pie cooler - new price $125 and two gold rockers - new price $20 for the pair. The Personal Ministries committee is looking for a few folks who would be willing to lead out in adult or children's Sabbath school classes once monthly. We currently have many dedicated teachers but need a few more. If you've never tried leading a SS class, why not give it a try, if not you, then who? Call Doris at 614- 439-0426.

 

Mount Vernon Academy's annual Academy Days will be held April 11-12, 2010. We would like to invite any students currently in grades 7 through 11 to join us on campus for this event. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. This is a free event. MVA will provide shuttling for students from the Akron/Cleveland and Columbus areas. Columbia Union Adventist Disaster Response training – The 1st of its kind training course is being offered to those interested in responding to those affected by natural and man-made disasters in a highly organized and documented program of the North American Division. This training will be held April 23-25, 2010 at the New Jersey Conference's Tranquil Valley Retreat in New Jersey. FOUND! Two diamond rings have been turned into the church office. If you or anyone you know has lost a diamond ring, call Laura at 885-7812 to describe your ring.

 

Our longest running church ministry, Street Beat, goes back 26 years! They have prepared and delivered food to residents at the Friends of the Homeless Shelter every Sunday (with few exceptions) for every one of those 26 years. That's 1404 meals to those in need!!!  And now Street Beat has a need. They need drivers to make their delivery to the shelter. They meet in the kitchen of the church at 8:00am, are ready to make their delivery by 9:00 and are home no later than 9:30! If you are interested in joining this long serving ministry, please call Loreen Carifa, 888-6667.

Delegates can fill their spiritual cups through our Prayer Initiatives, Community Mission Projects, Evangelism Outreach, Teens Preaching/Testimonies, Mass Choir/Orchestra, Workshops/Seminars, Sabbath Youth Rally/Parade, Recreation and so much more! Sabbath, March 13 2010Pastor Loren Seibold - God's Will for Your Life

 

Liberty Christian Academy's choir will be participating in the 2nd worship service this week.  Our church member, Chalyse Gary is a senior member of this choir. Please be sure to give them a warm welcome and maybe even invite them to join you for potluck!

 

This Sabbath is our All Church Fellowship Luncheon! We hope you'll join us. Please bring an entrée and a dessert or salad to share.

 

Join us for Sabbath evening vespers and be blessed by the music ministry of Herman and Sonnie Harp. The concert is this Saturday and begins at 6:00pm in the sanctuary. This will be the perfect ending to a beautiful spring Sabbath day!

 

Stepping Stones Learning Center Work Bee is this Sunday morning, March 14 between 9:00 and 1:00. Any time you could give would be greatly appreciated. If you have tools, drop cloths, rollers, you are encouraged to bring them with you.

Food DriveThis is the LAST Sabbath to bring in non- perishable items for our food drive! Some suggestions are CANNED VEGY'S/FRUITS, BOXED MEALS, POWDERED DRINK MIXES, NON-EXPIRED BABY FORMULA, SAUCES & NOODLES.

 

Kindergarten Round-up, March 5, 2010.  Are you looking for a great Kindergarten for the fall?  We'd like to give you an opportunity to experience first hand our accredited Kindergarten program here at Worthington Adventist Academy.  On Friday, March 5, all prospective students are invited to Kindergarten Round-Up.  Come and spend a morning (8:30-11:30 a.m.) in our Kindergarten room and get a little taste of what Kindergarten will be like.  Please call the school office at 614-885-9525 to register your child. 

 

Mt. Vernon Academy's Annual Community Auction is Sunday, March 7 at 3:00pm in the MVA gymnasium. Some items up for auction are Amish built shed, ATV, motorcycle and quilts. All proceeds benefit Christian education. Do you have something to donate? They are accepting new or like new items for auction (this is not a yard sale but a true auction).
