WAA Fall Fest:
The Worthington Seventh-Day Adventist Church will be hosting Life Line Screening on
1) A Carotid Artery Screening –visualizes the build up of plaque in the carotid arteries, which leads to stroke. (Most strokes are linked to carotid artery blockage)
2) An Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) test – looks for an enlargement in the abdominal aorta that could lead to a ruptured aortic artery. The vast majority of people who have an aneurysm have no symptoms.
3) An Ankle Brachial Index (
4) Bone density screening, which tests for the early signs of osteoporosis.
5) Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) – A test to measure irregular heart beat. Atrial Fibrillation increases the risk of stroke 5 times.
6) Complete Lipid panel, Glucose and C-Reactive Protein blood tests are also available for $99.00. ($70 when combined with tests 1-5 above) These blood tests require an eight hour fast.
You must pre-register by calling 1-888-653-6441. These screenings are completely painless, non-invasive, and affordable. The cost for all four vascular screenings is $139.00. 10 minutes could save your life!

Upcoming Sabbath Events: October 10 – Pastor Kristopher Zygowiec at second service October 17 – Melashanko Family Singers at both services Melashanko Family Singers vespers concert, October After last week's presentation by Kennedy Dulo, many of you have called and asked how you can give to Teen Girls Conference – Two OSU Students are looking for transportation from campus to church and back on Saturday mornings. They are both new to the area and have just started classes this week. They are anxious to find a church family to worship with. It would be best if we could get several volunteers and do a rotation of transportation. If you may be able to help, please call Laura in the church office, 885-7812. Thanks!! It originated in her breast and has metastasized to her bone and liver. It is necessary for her to receive treatment and see her physicians about once every one or two weeks. She is often in a weakend condition is unable to drive. That's where you can help. We are looking for a brigade of kind souls who would be willing to transport Suzanne to and from her appointments.
