Children’s Sabbath School Leaders. All leaders are invited to a brief leaders meeting to address the various needs of our SS classes. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 17 immediately following the 2nd service in the garden room. Please r.s.v.p. to AndrĂ©, 436-7477. You may bring a list of needs/questions/comments to the meeting.

Have you had your home or apartment dedicated or would you like to have it re-dedicated? Pastor Bob is available to join you and your family to dedicate your home to Christ. Call 439-0818.

The WSDAC Street Beat Ministry would like to thank those who donated to our clothing drive during the month of December. We received many new and gently used items. In addition to the sandwiches that we provide to the Friends of the Homeless shelter each Sunday, we were able to donate numerous boxes and bags of your generous donations. Thank you for taking your time and giving of your funds to this long standing and worthwhile ministry of the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Changing careers or seeking a new position? Join the UN-Club.
We are a group of professionals who are developing better interview techniques, research skills, and resume tips. Come join us every Tuesday @ 2:00pm to learn the ins and outs of networking and online job profiles/applications. You are invited to MVA’s senior class production of Airline. The performance is scheduled for January 24 at 8:00pm in the MVA Chapel. Cost is $5/adult and $2/children five and under. Discounts for families of four or more.

A Brazilian couple who recently joined our church, are looking for someone willing to tutor them for one hour a week. You don’t need to be a teacher or speak Spanish. They just need someone to help them figure out the correct pronunciation as they read from a book. This would be ideal for a student who needs service hours, a retiree who is looking for something to fill their time or anyone trying to find a way to give. Christmas Caroling! Join Pastor Bob, Shirleen Brown and others as they spend one hour this Sabbath serenading the residents of Sunrise Assistant Living. Meet them at 4:00pm, 6525 N. High St. in Worthington (across the street from the fire department) to spread some Christmas cheer. If you need a ride, call Pastor Bob at 439-0818.

Collecting for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Please bring your extra canned/boxed/jarred goods to Church this Sabbath and member Jennifer Thorward will deliver them to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. You will find a collection table in the Narthex. Thanks Jennifer, this makes giving that much easier!!!

You will notice in the sanctuary this Sabbath, all the elaborate, festive decorations, put there to give you a small sampling of the upcoming WAA Christmas program, “All I Want For Christmas.” Please be sure to mark your calendar for next Tuesday, December 16 and attend this program beginning at 7:00pm.

This Sabbath is our all church fellowship luncheon! Bring your family and dine in the warmth and comfort of our lovely fellowship hall. Please remember to bring a main dish and dessert or salad to share.

HEALTH FOOD CUPBOARD: This Friday, December 12 & Sunday, December 14th are the last days that the HFC will be open until Friday, January 9, 2009! Stop in and stock up on all your favorite items to carry you through until the new year.

Happy Birthday to everyone born in the month of December! Celebrate this Sabbath with a piece of birthday cake served after both worship services.

This Sabbath is the much anticipated Women’s Ministries Ornament Exchange. It will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. in the Garden Room of the Worthington SDA Church. Please provide one ornament to exchange. All the ladies of our Church are invited and guests are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.

Don’t forget, we will be hosting an all church fellowship luncheon next Sabbath, December 13. So brush up on those Christmas cookie recipes!
