Join Wally Carson for both worship services and then again at 4:00pm Sabbath afternoon for a presentation on Religious Liberty. This is a hot topic in today's changing political arena.   You are going to want to check this out!!! It is an article promoting a TNT Movie staring Cuba Gooding Jr. as Dr. Benjamin S. Carson called "Gifted Hands, the Ben Carson Story."  As you know Ben Carson is a SDA who grew up in the projects and who overcame many obstacles to get to where he is today; the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. We are going to be registering interested young people for the next 3 Sabbaths in the Narthex of the church and will be off and running with our first official meeting on Sunday, February 15th from 10:00-12:00 in the fellowship hall. If you plan to attend please provide the following: For families, bring an entrée and a dessert or salad. For singles, bring and entrée or a dessert or salad. And as always, if you see any visitors please invite them to join us!   Are you a volunteer of the WSDA Church? Do you hold a position, meet on a committee, support a ministry? Do you teach, preach, pray or visit? Maybe you cook, clean or maintain our facility. Whatever role you play, we want to honor you! This Sabbath is our Volunteer Dedication Sabbath so we hope you will attend in order to receive a special prayer by Elder Monte Sahlin. All leaders are invited to a brief leaders meeting to address the various needs of our SS classes. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 17 immediately following the 2nd service in the garden room. Please r.s.v.p. to André, 436-7477.
