II Cor. 12:9   Upcoming Events and Items of Interest:   Coming this week: This Sabbath is our All Church Fellowship Luncheon. If you plan to attend please provide the following: For families, bring an entrée and a dessert or salad. For singles, bring and entrée or a dessert or salad. And as always, if you see any visitors please invite them to join us!   Are you a volunteer of the WSDA Church? Do you hold a position, meet on a committee, support a ministry? Do you teach, preach, pray or visit? Maybe you cook, clean or maintain our facility. Whatever role you play, we want to honor you! This Sabbath is our Volunteer Dedication Sabbath so we hope you will attend in order to receive a special prayer by Elder Monte Sahlin. They are all doing well and fell so blessed to have had such a healthy and beautiful start to their family.   Vespers on Sabbath, January 24.  Joseph Backer will be here to perform a piano concert at 6:00pm in the sanctuary.   Children's Sabbath School Leaders. All leaders are invited to a brief leaders meeting to address the various needs of our SS classes. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 17 immediately following the 2nd service in the garden room. Please r.s.v.p. to André, 436-7477. You may bring a list of needs/questions/comments to the meeting.   Have you had your home or apartment dedicated or would you like to have it re-dedicated? Pastor Bob is available to join you and your family to dedicate your home to Christ. Call 439-0818.   The WSDAC Street Beat Ministry would like to thank those who donated to our clothing drive during the month of December.  We received many new and gently used items. In addition to the sandwiches that we provide to the Friends of the Homeless shelter each Sunday, we were able to donate numerous boxes and bags of your generous donations.  Thank you for taking your time and giving of your funds to this long standing and worthwhile ministry of the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church.   Changing careers or seeking a new position?  Join the UN-Club. We are a group of professionals who are developing better interview techniques, research skills, and resume tips.  Come join us every Tuesday @ 4:00pm in the Early Teen room of the Worthington SDA Church to learn the ins and outs of networking and online job profiles/applications.     Looking for a room to rent. Female, SDA baby boomer looking for a bedroom for one person and one cat. Very easy going, always pays rent on time, a quiet companion. Join the church family on Sunday, January 25 at 2:00p.m. in the garden room and help the Abbott's prepare for the March arrival of baby girl!
