Coming this week:

We had a death in our church family this week. Kenny Crawford passed away. You can pay your respects this Friday from 5:00-8:00 at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral home, 515 High St. Worthington. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at the WSDA Church. Your condolences can be sent to Nora at 244 E. Stafford Ave., Worthington, Ohio 43085.

Remember: Our all church fellowship luncheon will take place NEXT Sabbath instead of this Sabbath in order to accommodate MVA who will be performing for us on the 21st. Please bring a dessert and one of the following pasta dishes: mac-n-cheese, ravioli, stuffed shells or baked ziti. The potluck team will provide the salad and spaghetti. Bring extra for MVA!

This Saturday you are invited to close the Sabbath with Hubert Cisneros and Bobby McGhee in the sanctuary at 6:00pm. Bring along your singing voices, there's bound to be glorious music!

Everyone is invited to a Valentines Social, this Saturday, February 14 at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. Married or single, you will enjoy a delightful evening of light refreshments, love song sing-along and rich fellowship with good friends.

Pathfinder & Adventurer Club's sign-up in the Narthex this Sabbath!

Coming in the weeks ahead:

PRAYER Ministry. The WSDA Church has a prayer team that prays for members' prayer requests.  We are always looking for new members, if interested in joining our team, contact Andrea Gibbs or Laura Hanley.  REMINDER: The team will pray for 30 days for your requests.  If the team has not heard from you after the 30 days, your request will be dropped from the prayer roster. We want to hear your praises and your answered prayers, as well.  Just go to www.worthingtonsda.org and click on prayer at the top of the page, and then click on prayer request at the top of that page to submit your request.  If you don't have a computer, you can call in a request to the church office 885-7812, or put one in the offering plate. Prayer is the lifeline of the church—so keep praying!

Due to the influx of the homeless population in the surrounding area, we should all be aware of what to do when approached at the church. Personally walk them to a deacon or pastor, introduce them, and walk away. Our deacons and pastors have been trained in helping in these situations. We don't recommend giving them money or rides.
