Coming this week:

This is Potluck Sabbath! We encourage our church family to join in fellowship following the 2nd service. This is a wonderful way to get to know our growing family. Please provide an entrée and a dessert or salad. Just drop it off in the kitchen before church and our hostesses will have it heated and set out for the luncheon. For those of you that Minnie Constantine & Sue and Dave Roberts, they will be at the potluck and look forward to visiting with you.

We are looking for folks who would be able to provide a meal for Steve & Myrna Duncan. If you would like to help, please call Frances Thorward at (614) 847-0610.

Pathfinders & Adventurers progress report.  Our first meeting opened with Betsy Blocher leading in prayer and worship, then we did some size selecting for new uniforms, and then the real fun began when we started working on…you guessed it…the KNOT honor! Who knew kids could have so much fun tying (and untying) knots!  This past Sabbath we had the privilege of hosting the Conference Level Bible Bowl.  The Worthington Wildcats were able to help with and participate in this event. We also provided a yummy spaghetti dinner for the 90 + Pathfinders!  Then on Sunday, the Adventurers and Pathfinders spent the day at Malabar Farms enjoying the Maple Sugar Festival. While enjoying the out of doors, they also earned their first honor, the Maple Sugar Honor!! The next meeting is Sunday, March 15 at 10:00am in the fellowship hall.  As a reminder registration for both clubs will remain open until March 31st and then will be closed until mid September 2009.

Pathfinders are looking for a glass display case. If you or anyone you know has one that they would be willing to donate, please contact Pathfinder leader Kevin Sciulli at (614) 841-9085 or the church office at (614) 885-7812.

We continue to receive news of members losing their jobs. Many of those we sit next to in the pew are facing critical, financial situations. WE WANT TO HELP! If you know of any job opportunities, could you please contact the church office at 614-885-7812. Also, if you are in a position where you are able, we need help funding our benevolent fund.
