Coming this week:

HAPPY 4TH 0F JULY!   "The real democratic idea is, not that every man shall be on a level with every other, but that every one shall have liberty, without hindrance, to be what God made him to be"   - Henry Ward Beecher

Sabbath, June 27: Pastor Loren Seibold: Common Sense

Happy Birthday to everyone born in the month of July! May God bless you in the year to come.

A note from Eva Gates: "I appreciate all my church family who have prayed for me, sent cards and flowers and visited me while in rehab. I will be going home on July 8, Archie's birthday. Please continue to pray for our family, God is good."

The Church secretary (me:), will be out of the office on a family vacation July 6-10 so you won't be receiving an In-Touch newsletter next week and I won't be in the church office to take your call. I will be back in the office on July 14.

Coming in the weeks ahead:

Bob's Big Boys softball team does not play this week but will be back in action when they play Worthington Christian on July 9th at 6:15, diamond #1 at Perry Park.

Women played a significant role in Christ's life and ministry. And they are playing a significant role in His work today here in Worthington, and all over the Ohio Conference. May God impress you with your part in glorifying Him through your gift to Women's Ministries. You may contribute your offering this Sabbath, or on any Sabbath in an offering envelope labeled "Women's Ministries."

All Adult SS Classes – Please plan on participating in a special Heritage Sabbath adult SS class, held in the sanctuary and led by Pastor Leslie Bumgardner, next Sabbath, July 18.

A change in the schedule: Please note that our fellowship luncheon will take place on the 3rd Sabbath of the month (instead of the 2nd) in July to coincide with Heritage Sabbath.

Heritage Sabbath 2009 – Our worship leader for both services will be Pastor Fred Kinsey.  Pastor Kinsey served at Worthington as the associate pastor in the late '70's and was instrumental in starting the Westerville SDA Church. Leading our adult Sabbath School sanctuary class will be Pastor Leslie Bumgardner. Pastor Bumgardner served as the associate in Worthington in the late '80's and was instrumental in starting the Dublin SDA Church. Second service will be followed by a fellowship luncheon and then in the early afternoon, Joseph Backer will perform a vespers concert.

A new Prayer group has formed and they would like to invite you to join them. They meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm here in the garden room of the church. This group spends an hour in prayer for the requests that come in to the prayer team and the church office.
