Sabbath, July 18 HERITAGE SABBATH: Pastor Fred Kinsey: Reflections Sabbath, July 18 HERITAGE SABBATH: Combined This Sabbath is Heritage Sabbath 2009. We look forward to hearing from our special guests, pastor's Fred Kinsey and Leslie Bumgardner and musical artist Joseph Backer. Be sure to join us following second service for a light fellowship luncheon and then stay for our early vespers concert beginning at Next Sabbath, we have two musical guests who will be performing for 2nd service. Dr. Sebronette Barnes, Assoc. Prof. of Fine Arts from Cheyney Univ. of PA is an accomplished soloist and will thrill you with her beautiful singing. Also performing is our own Roger Curley, playing some of his original arrangements. It is always a blessing to have Roger with us. Bob's Big Boys softball team plays against First Alliance tonight at The Street Beat Ministry had a wonderful response to our collection of towels and toiletries for the homeless men's shelter. You opened your hearts and your wallets to show how you care for others in need. We hope to do this during the months of May and June each year. Also, this winter we will be collecting again for coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Keep this in mind as you clean out your closets for fall. Remember, only men's items will be accepted. A new Prayer group has formed and they would like to invite you to join them. They meet every Tuesday at Books At Your Door. The Worthington Library now has a homebound service book delivery service. If you live in the Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group (SRJNG). We have accepted an opportunity to host this group on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning August 5. This group supports the unemployed by offering useful skills for resumé writing, job interviewing techniques, networking opportunities, etc. You are welcome to participate at any time.
