After last week's presentation by Kennedy Dulo, many of you have called and asked how you can give to Lighthouse Academy? We have two options: First you can give to your Sabbath School offering. All offerings for the year 2009 are being directed to Lighthouse Academy. Secondly, you can put your donation into a tithe envelope, mark it Lighthouse Academy, and drop it into the offering plate.

Teen Girls Conference – October 16-18, 2009. A weekend event planned especially for girls 13-18 years old, giving them an opportunity for deeper and more meaningful connections with God, themselves and others. Sponsor a teen that you know! For more information go to www.gtcawakeninghearts.com or call Rose Hofacker at 614-738-8152.

Two OSU Students are looking for transportation from campus to church and back on Saturday mornings. They are both new to the area and have just started classes this week. They are anxious to find a church family to worship with. It would be best if we could get several volunteers and do a rotation of transportation. If you may be able to help, please call Laura in the church office, 885-7812. Thanks!!

Would you be willing to make some "goodies" for our upcoming October 24th blood drive? If you are anything like me (terrified of needles!) and want to help but are unsure how, donate your homemade "goodies" instead of blood!  If you are able to donate, please call the church office and talk to Laura!

As many of you know, Suzanne Grady is battling cancer. It originated in her breast and has metastasized to her bone and liver. It is necessary for her to receive treatment and see her physicians about once every one or two weeks. She is often in a weakend condition is unable to drive. That's where you can help. We are looking for a brigade of kind souls who would be willing to transport Suzanne to and from her appointments. She lives on Griswold Street and her appointments are right up 161 in Stoneridge Medical center. Again, she would only need assistance several times a month. If you would be available to help Suzanne with this need, please respond to this e-mail with your name and phone number. I will pass along all the info to Suzanne who will make the arrangements with you. Thank you in advance, God bless you and keep you in good health. Laura

Thank you from Jeannie Gordy to all of those who help her move to her new home. Her new address is 98 E. Stafford Ave., Worthington, Ohio 43085. (614) 436-7367.
