Coming this week:

The current financial problems besetting many families have now spilled over and are affecting the church. We are currently running at a $33,826.72 deficit. Each week our debt continues to grow despite the hard work and financial manipulation provided by the finance committee. If you find that you can give a little extra to our local church budget, it would make a huge difference to our various ministries.

Some of you may have noticed that I tried to send out a McGhee Family Easter letter this week but was unsuccessful, so…I have included it here in our In-Touch Newsletter. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello all ye saints of Worthington SDA.  Just a note of LOVE and Remembrance that JESUS is alive and the stone's been rolled away.  My family and I HOPE for each one of you the fondest and most wonderful EASTER ever as we keep living the life of a CHRISTIAN believer.

Thanks for being such warm, accepting, and willing folks to help whenever YOU can.  There is much work to do in the field of caring and nurturing.  Please let us work together to make each life richer and more meaningful.  Sometimes we can get diverted in our paths but the JESUS we serve will continue to inspire us through many avenues and most of all lead us to those that need our help the MOST.

Again JESUS is ALIVE and we THANK GOD for HIS work on OUR behalf through JESUS CHRIST HIS SON.

ALTOGETHER LOVELY

HOPEFUL Bob and crew

Baby Shower Time! Let's help Nadine and John Zygowiec get ready for the arrival of their son in May by throwing them a shower! Join us on Sunday, April 19th at 2:00pm in the garden room. Nadine is registered at Babies 'R' Us.

Coming in the weeks ahead:

Update on MaryAnn Buckles.  Earlier this week she fell and broke her leg. She went home from the hospital but needed more care so she has moved to ManorCare, 140 Old County Line Rd. 882-1511. Not sure how long she will be there so call before you visit.

Update on Eva Gates. She is resting at Mt. Carmel East Hospital after having emergency surgery on Monday. She is in SICU bed five and able to receive visitors from 10-2:00 and 4-8:00p.m. The family asks that you continue to pray for both Eva and Archie as this is a very difficult time for them.

Next Sabbath is Education Sabbath. Our WAA school children will be actively involved in the service with readings, music and stories. We also have a special group from Liberty Christian Academy joining us. Chaplain Mark Feldbush is the guest speaker for both services. We will close the Sabbath with a special ordination service for Mark Feldbush beginning at 6:30pm to which you are all invited! Be sure to join us for this most special of Sabbaths!

Four Weeks to Better Health. A gentle stretching and bending class is available for our Senior Ladies. Each Tuesday in April, you are invited to meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00pm for FORTY minutes of gentle bending and stretching. We begin promptly at 7:00pm and end at 7:40pm. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel for the floor. If floor exercise is not physically feasible, you can do these same exercises from a chair.  Questions?  Call Mary Fran at 885-3192.
